PSILOCYBIN THERAPY

Mushrooms are some of the oldest, most intelligent beings on this planet, and it is an incredible privilege to receive their healing medicine, known as psilocybin. Psilocybin is a long-lasting, orally active psychedelic that has been used by Indigenous peoples for thousands of years. More recently, psilocybin has garnered attention in a clinical research context for its capacity to alleviate treatment-resistant depression.

DO YOU WANT TO FEEL ALIVE AGAIN?

Psilocybin mushrooms increase neuroplasticity to rewire the brain and catalyze rapid emotional and spiritual growth. A growing body of research is demonstrating that psilocybin can have profound healing effects on a broad-spectrum, transdiagnostic range of conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, grief, trauma, and more. During a psilocybin journey, it’s possible to access mystical states of consciousness characterized by bliss, unconditional love, visionary experiences, unity, ego transcendence, and cosmic connectedness. After a long harsh winter, the world can come back into full kaleidoscopic bloom.

ARE YOU PREPARED TO DEEPLY FEEL YOUR PAIN?

Overall, many people report that psychedelic journeys rank among the most meaningful and transformative experiences of their lives, but that doesn’t mean the content of your journey will be comfortable and positive. Quite the contrary. It’s very common to have extremely uncomfortable physical sensations as well as jarring and upsetting psychological experiences. This is all grist for the mill, as your mind and body actively metabolize fear, trauma, shame, and grief. Psychedelics are not about symptom reduction as with psychiatric medications. It’s about feeling into the roots of your pain as deeply and vibrantly as possible, so you can build a new liberated relationship with it.

ARC OF THE EXPERIENCE

Mushrooms can be consumed fresh or dried by themselves, combined with other foods such as honey or chocolate, or extracted in the form of a tea. For a full-day transformative journey, dosages of 3-5 grams are recommended. The experience unfolds in three phases: comeup, peak, and comedown. The comeup can last for about an hour and is usually marked by elevated blood pressure and heart rate, as well as feelings of disorientation and/or nausea. The peak phase can last for two or more hours, and is usually characterized by intense states of rapidly shifting emotions and dreamlike experiences. The comedown is also about an hour and is the period when you are gradually returning and adjusting to ordinary consciousness. When the medicine is delivered in a tea form, generally the entire experience is compressed and more intense.
